Deakin Learning Centre

The innovative Deakin Centre, which has just welcomed its first students, provides an additional ‘world of work’ learning environment for the students studying programmes in the college’s Care, Health and Early Years Academy. The building is shared with health professionals, with two of the four floors used for NHS staff training by Cambridge University Hospitals.

The £6 million centre also provides well-equipped meeting places and excellent facilities for local community groups, who are being invited to a special viewing and information event attended by Cambridge mayor Ian Nimmo-Smith.
